He quit because he wanted to work on a project where he had more freedom to change things, among other reasons.

Is Ken back? Or is he only posting changelogs on steam?

He updates the code base still, I don't exactly know why. Progress is slow right now.

I had read the post, but I forgot about it half way through.

We have cleaned up the content workflow quite a bit, and we now have a base game to work with now; which means in large that we're "Back on track".
there is still a majority of art content that needs to be finished; so it remains to be seen what will happen next.
